The article in The Telegraph about making your kitchen planet-friendly inspired me to continue where the article stopped. I have been talking about this issue for many years and would like to add a few things I recommend in addition to this fantastic article:
- Rethink your cleaning products. There are easy and inexpensive alternatives to cleaning your home especially your kitchen. I will share cleaning solutions in my next post.
- Use glass bottles instead of plastic bottles. Even better use a water filter if you can!
- Grow your own herbs or even vegetables if you have space to do so. Sometimes a nice sunny window ledge or a small garden is all you need.
- Avoid antibacterial soaps
This simple changes make a big difference to the planet, and to the health of the ones you love. Start today.
